HRSA Background

HRSA was organized to provide a recreational environment for children to learn and play soccer, the world’s most popular sport. HRSA is an affliate of CSA (Colorado Soccer Association), a non-profit education and service organization which oversees Colorado soccer.

The affliation with the CSA allows HRSA teams to participate in all state leagues and recreational tournaments within the state. HRSA is also affliated with the United States Soccer Federation (USSF).

As the governing body of soccer in all its forms in the United States, USSF has helped chart the course for the sport in the USA for 88 years. In that time, the Federation’s mission statement has been very simple and very clear: to make soccer, in all its forms, a preeminent sport in the United States and to continue the development of soccer at all recreational and competitive levels.

The overall objective of our program is maximum participation, which means every child will play at least half of every match. Having fun while developing skills is important. HRSA is a great example of a “grass roots” effort to provide an affordable youth soccer program in Highlands Ranch.

We believe it is important to make the costs of participation reasonable while not sacrifcing any quality. We are a non-profit corporation, as such, HRSA is exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Donors may deduct contributions to HRSA as provided in Section 170(c) of the Code.
